It is when we are most afraid, that we need to persevere and keep our focus on the goal.

that I have in my mind.

I wrote this because so many people feel that, to love others, they should be loved first, or in return.
The truth is, it is when we love others unconditionally, without expecting anything in return,
that we discover the great (sometimes hidden) joy of love.
And then something amazing happens - we discover that we ARE loved...

PERCEPTIONS...
The things with which we create our own reality and our experience of this world.Thomas Edison said: "I never did a day's work in my life. It was all fun!"
Now I can't help thinking... If I change my perceptions, I'll be able to say:
"You win some, you win some!"
Better still...
I'll be able to rewrite the opening line of "A Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens
and come up with something like:
"It was the best of times, it was the BEST of times!"
Just imagine how amazing our lives would be if, instead of constantly complaining about how bad things are and how miserable we feel, we look for the "flip-side", the "sunny-side"...
Turn it into a game - in any given moment that there is a negative comment, think about what could be positive or beneficial about the situation.
In fact, begin the day with thoughts of how amazing it will be and how wonderful you will feel - you could be very surprised because
sometimes, miracles show up in the most unexpected disguises...
